UPDATES FROM JOE

VOTERS DESERVE A DEBATE

Joe has called for a public debate so Town of Hempstead voters can hear directly from both candidates and get answers to questions that matter to them.

In his September 29 letter to Supervisor John Ferretti, Joe made his fourth request for a debate and confirmed his willingness to participate in a public candidate event at Hofstra University.

JOE RECEIVES I AM PAC ENDORSEMENT

Joe has received the endorsement of the Italian American Political Action Committee (I AM PAC) in his campaign for Hempstead Town Supervisor.

Joe's Italian heritage has always been an important part of who he is, and receiving this endorsement in honor of his father makes it all the more meaningful. He's grateful to I AM PAC for their support and recognition.

JOE CALLS FOR LESS JUNK MAIL AND MORE INVESTMENT IN TOWN SERVICES

Joe is calling for a reduction in taxpayer-funded Town mailers and an option for residents to opt out of nonessential mailings.

With approximately $4.5 million spent on mailings last year, there is an opportunity to put taxpayer dollars to better use: improving parks, funding preventative road maintenance, supporting his veterans’ agenda, and keeping community events such as concerts going.

As Supervisor, Joe would cut unnecessary mailings and put the savings toward services that benefit residents. Taxpayer-funded mail should provide useful information, not political self-promotion.
